Board of Advisors

 

Mascia Development has assembled a well rounded group of experts for its Advisory Board, whose role is to provide valuable feedback and strategic advice. Each member brings more than 10 years of experience and success to the Advisory Board. They have varied backgrounds in areas directly important to Mascia Development’s business strategy, and will be instrumental in providing stewardship, insight, and advice.

The Advisory Board consists of the following five members:

Matthew Kasindorf- Area of Expertise: Real Estate Law

Mr. Kasindorf has over 25 years of experience as an accomplished transactional lawyer specializing in sophisticated real estate and investment ventures both in NYC and throughout the United States. He counsels clients in the formation, syndication, acquisition, financing, development and sale of real estate and other assets and is the co-chair of the Real Estate Department at Meister Seelig & Fein LLP, a 30-lawyer boutique law firm headquartered in New York City. Mr. Kasindorf has degrees in Accounting and a Master of Laws in Taxation (LLM) from New York University. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor in New York University’s renowned Graduate Real Estate Institute where he has earned the prestigious “Award for Teaching Excellence” and has separately been named a “New York Super Lawyer” by New York Magazine.

Jonathan Bazzano – Area of Expertise: Real Estate Finance and Capital Markets

Mr. Bazzano has over 20 years of real estate finance experience and is currently a Director at Wachovia Bank in the Real Estate Americas Group. Prior to Wachovia he worked at The Bank of New York and Chase Manhattan Bank, where he held a Vice President position working on real estate financing. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate Finance at New York University’s Graduate Real Estate Institute for the last 3 years. Mr. Bazzano received his MBA from Pace University, was credit trained at The Chase Manhattan Bank, and has his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from SUNY Brockport.

Nicolas Pasanella – Area of Expertise: Design and Construction

Mr. Pasanella has over 20 years of experience in the area of real estate design and construction. He is the founder and CEO of Latitude 38, a development and construction consulting business. Prior to that he spent 4 years working at Monument Realty, where he was the Vice President of Construction and completed well over 3,000 units of residential development. Prior to Monument Realty, Mr. Pasanella worked at such companies as Kettler (formerly KSI), Pyramid Management Group, Inc and Gwathmey Siegel & Associates and is presently on the Board of Governors for the Washington Building Congress and Chair of Regional Development Sub-committee. Mr. Pasanella holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Columbia Graduate School of Architecture Preservation and Planning and went to Vassar College for his undergraduate studies.

James F Caulfield, Jr. – Area of Expertise: Construction and Development

Mr. Caulfield has 15 years of experience in the fields of construction and real estate development. He and his brother Robert Caulfield, are co-owners of Fields Development Group, Fields Construction, and Fields Asset Management Inc. Their development company was established in 1977 and they are third generation developers. Mr. Caulfield is a graduate of Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he studied civil engineering.

Michelle Dabroski – Area of Expertise: Real Estate Property Management

Ms. Dabroski has over 15 years of residential property management experience. She is presently Director of Training and Property Management for MAC Property Management, a large multifamily residential operator based in Illinois. She has worked in and trained every role within the operations team for large national operators such as Archstone and Lincoln Property Company. Prior to relocating to Chicago in 2008, Ms. Dabroski was the Regional Training Manager for Archstone-Smith’s entire Northeast Region (consisting of over 8,000 units) based out of NYC. At Archstone, she was responsible for training all leasing agents, property and portfolio managers, as well as general operations team training on complex property management systems such as MRI Residential, YARDI, and Lease Rent Options. Ms. Dabroski has her Bachelor’s in Arts from the University of Alabama in Early/Elementary Education. She also holds her Real Estate Salespersons License in NY State and a Property Management Certificate from the NY Real Estate School.
